Now the Salesian Artistic Centre has finally got an adequate “sign board” to present itself to the public. The precious and artistic tag done by the sculptor Fawsi Nastas is a real masterpiece. It has been fixed above the entrance door of the Artistic Centre few days ago. The tag, carefully carved with the technique of the bass-relief on a slate of the local pink stone, weights more than 80 kilograms. The setting work has required the precious help of the students of the centre, who have collaborated under the directives of Mr. Fawsi to fix it.
On the tag there is the design of the logo of the Artistic Centre which we expected to become soon well known here in Bethlehem.
We are very proud of the accurate job done by Mr. Fawsi and we thank him very much.
